Class of 2022
Commencement Ceremony
Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 5:00 pm
Class of 2022 students who meet graduation requirements must meet the following additional requirements to participate in the Commencement Ceremony.
Commencement Requirements
- Students must attend rehearsal on June 7, 2022 during period 4.
- Students must clear any items on the Stop Clearance List by Lunch on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.
- Students must attend rehearsal on June 8, 2022 during periods 5 and 6. Cap and Gown/Commencement tickets will be distributed at the conclusion of the rehearsal.
- Students must report to the MPR on June 9, 2022 at 4:00 pm for the Commencement Ceremony.
- Students must adhere to Commencement Ceremony Dress Code:No alterations of cap/gown, no adornment (e.g. no leis), no heels, no purses, no keys, no lanyards, etc. Cell phones must be turned off and out of sight during the ceremony.
Commencement Tickets
- Each student who meets Commencement Ceremony Requirements will receive 6 Commencement tickets.
Diplomas
- Diplomas will be available for pick up from Friday, June 10, 2022 to Monday, June 13, 2022 (10:00 am - 2:48 pm) in the Student Store.
COVID-19 Protocols
We will follow LAUSD guidelines and Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services protocols to celebrate in a safe manner while limiting the spread of COVID-19.
- All attendees will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms. Attendees who are feeling ill, have symptoms of COVID-19, or have potentially been exposed to someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19, should not attend.
Commencement Ceremony Procedures may change per LAUSD COVID guidelines.
